Registration is now open for all children's summer programs. Visit our homepage, click on registration form, and select the classes you would like for your dancer(s). If you need assistance, you may visit the studio Saturday mornings between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
"HOW DO I ENROLL AS AN ADULT?"
This summer we will have adult modern, praise, jazz, and tap available. Summer classes for adults are drop in classes at $14 per session. Payments can be through PayPal prior to the start of class.
"HOW OLD DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BE TO BEGIN CLASSES?"
Children ages 2.5 through 4 are able to participate in our Magic Movement summer program, and children ages 5 through 12 are able to participate in Saturday Camp. Teens ages 16+ are able to take classes with our adults.
"WHEN DOES THE DANCE SEASON BEGIN AND END?"
Summer dance programs begin Saturday, July 8th and continue through Saturday, August 18th. Our 2023-2024 dance season will begin Saturday, September 9th.
"WHAT CLASSES ARE OFFERED AT D.A.T.?
D.A.T. provides instruction in: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Acrobatics (Acrobatic Arts), Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Modern, Praise, African, Pointe, and Strength and Flexibility (Alixa Flexibility).
"I'M AN ADULT AND NEVER DANCED BEFORE? IS IT TOO LATE?"
Our adult classes are designed for beginner, intermediate, & advanced dancers of all ages to enjoy and progress at their own rate. Our instructors provide modifications for adult bodies that may need to be easy on the knees, ankles, etc. Our adult dancers particiapte in African, Praise, Tap, and Adult Combo (Ballet, Jazz, and Modern) as well as Stretch.
D.A.T. Staff and owners are well versed in many different genres of dance, and have received the following certifications to enhance the dance experience for our students.
Zumba is designed for anybody who would like to get their body moving and enjoy themselves while doing so.
Acrobatic Arts is designed to support students in AcroDance, and allow them to complete skills with proper technique and precision. The dancers move through progressions and levels with skills in strength, flexibility, balance, limbering, and tumbling.
Alixa Flexibility is designed to help students find a balance between their strength and flexibility using safe, research based stretching techniques. This class is beneficial for individuals that would like to increase their flexibility and/or to further support their acrobatics instruction.
